Rob Thomas, Director
Rob is a founding Director of PWD and is responsible for all activities of the business at both a strategic and tactical level.
Rob’s experience in the property development and construction industries spans 25-years in the Australian and UK markets.
Rob’s expertise encompasses the full development spectrum from identification and acquisition, legal structuring, design, approvals, sales, leasing, marketing, joint-venture structuring, construction delivery plus equity and debt financing.
Prior to PWD, Rob spent over 7-years at TOGA where he was most recently responsible for all development activities of the business in the capacity of General Manager – Development. This role involved leading a team overseeing a $1.8bn+ portfolio of projects including residential, retail and hotel asset classes. Prior to working at TOGA Rob held senior positions at Investa Property Group, Savills and Mace.
Rob holds a first-class honours degree, is a member of the Property Council of Australia’s Residential Committee and is a guest lecturer at UNSW.
Banjo Bond, Director
Banjo is a founding Director of PWD and is intimately involved in all aspects of the business, with a particular focus on acquisitions, deal structuring and financial analysis.
Prior to PWD, Banjo worked at TOGA on a number of their major residential and mixed-use developments in key nodes within the Sydney metropolitan area. The portfolio of projects included over 400-apartments plus retail and commercial uses. Additionally, Banjo’s role involved the assessment and analysis of new projects that comprised the future pipeline of work for the business.
Prior to TOGA Banjo was an integral part of the capital transaction team at Primewest and was involved in some of their more complex transactions and acquisitions across a number of asset classes.
Banjo holds a Bachelor of Commerce and also a Masters in Property Investment and Development from the University of Western Sydney.
David Schwartz, Director
David is a Director of PWD and is also a founding Director of Primewest and has been instrumental in its growth and development.
David is a professional property investor with 25 years’ experience in negotiating acquisitions and overseeing the development of properties. He is a Non-Executive Director of Schaffer Corporation Ltd.
His property investments have been strongly focused on retail and commercial developments.
John Bond, Director
John is a Director of PWD and is also a founding Director of Primewest and has been instrumental in its growth and development. His background spans law, investment banking as well as property investment and development.
As a professional property investor, he has over 20 years’ experience in negotiating acquisitions, overseeing the development of properties and asset management.
He is a qualified solicitor and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Corporate Member of the Property Council. He is Chairman of The Fathering Project and a member of the Art Gallery of Western Australian Foundation Council.
